Gender Dysphoria Psychologist

Gender Dysphoria Psychologist

John Gwiazdzinski sees children and their parents when it becomes apparent that a gender dysphoria psychologist can help. He listens as they face the tasks of understanding and charting a course through the challenges that having a family member with the condition of gender dysphoria brings to a family. His approach is to educate and to support and allow the processing of the strong feelings that are almost always present.

John has a wide experience in psychology. He has worked with children and their parent as a guidance officer in the Education Department for over 20 years

He brings deep commitment and a wealth of experience to his work as a psychologist in private practice. He is a warm listener and forms a close therapeutic alliance with his clients. He believes in empowering the individual by clarifying their feelings and their options. At the same time, he engages clients in treatment programs that have been validated by outcome research.
